So...we're having a baby!!!

No matter how you say it, Tim and I are pregnant!

After 5 months of trying we had both began to think it was not going to happen and (kind of) stopped trying. Well one day after getting home from work, I decided that I would take one of the dollar store pregnancy tests that I had...it couldn't hurt, right after all, I pretty much tested a few times a week (it became an obsession). Well low and behold, there was a very very very faint line indicating that the test was positive which I had never seen before. When I showed Tim, he was his usual cautious self saying that he didn't believe that the test was accurate (after all it was from the Dollar Store!!). Giddy and very excited because I knew the test was positive regardless of the shade of the second pink line, I went to the drug store and bought $50 worth of various brands and types of pregnancy tests.

When I got home, Tim and our friend Erik were working on our bathroom so I quickly went to the upstairs bathroom and proceeded to pee on 4 different tests at once....slowly they all turned positive with the one digital one actually reading the words "PREGNANT"...I wondered if Tim would believe me now.

I called Tim upstairs and showed him the digital test which is when we silently celebrated...We didn't want to make too much noise since we did have a guest downstairs and didn't want to weird him out. We managed to do that anyway. Tim went downstairs with the test in hand and showed it to Erik, "Dude, we just wanted to let you know that we just found out that Sharon's pregnant!"---Akward!

Over the course of the next few days, I managed to take all $50 worth of tests but still have a few of the Dollar Store tests which I will probably continue to take until my first Dr. visit on May 30!!!
